Tadej Pogačar Vince Le Tour de France
Tadej Pogačar, UAE Team Emirates rider won the 108th edition of the 2021 Tour de France.
The 22-year-old has just become the youngest cyclist in Tour history to win the race twice.
In addition to the yellow jersey, for the second consecutive year, the rider also defeated the junior classification, taking the white jersey and that of the mountain grand prix (pois jersey).
"I'm speechless" commented Pogačar hotly.
“To still be here in Paris less than a year after my first win is something special and I'm so happy! It has been an exciting three weeks. The whole team and staff have been amazing and I want to thank them for their hard work they have done to support me. Tomorrow I'm leaving for the Olympics in Tokyo, and I will take with me a lot of great memories. I can't wait to go back to the Tour anyway!”
