The Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL6 Disc is a versatile and extremely fast bike on long climbs, windy plains, technical descents, Grand Tours stages and Gran Fondos.
The fundamental points that make the Tarmac an aerodynamic and high-performance bicycle are:
- The S-Works frame in FACT 12r carbon which thanks to the Rider-First Engineered protocol ensures that every Tarmac (regardless of size) offers the same response both uphill and downhill and the new geometries are designed so that the bike is light, performing and aerodynamics; the frame is designed for both electronic and mechanical groupsets, maintains the asymmetrical shape as in the previous version and weighs only 733 grams.
- The S-Works FACT Carbon fork with a thinner crown serves to accommodate larger section tires, offering incredible stiffness and excellent steering response, for quick accelerations and fast descents.
- The dedicated FACT Carbon seatpost has been lightened by 20 grams to be lighter and offer flawless power transfer; made flexible in the last 120mm to absorb vibrations and allow the rider to maintain excellent comfort to face even long bike rides.
