Lo Squalo visits TeamPeruffo
A Great Champion recently visited TeamPeruffo in the Cuveglio Store; the famous Vincenzo Nibali nicknamed the Shark met our Staff of cycling enthusiasts.
Vincenzo Nibali born in Messina on November 14, 1984 is a cyclist in the Bahrain-Merida Team, a professional since 2005, he is a complete runner, able to win both the great stage races and the great one-day classics.
In his palmares he has reached the podium of the three Grand Tours ten times in total. He is one of seven cyclists (the second Italian after Felice Gimondi) to have conquered at least one edition of all three Grand Tours, having won the 2010 Vuelta a España, the 2013 and 2016 Giri d'Italia and the 2014 Tour de France.
He is one of the four riders (together with Merckx, Hinault and Gimondi) to have won not only the three grand tours, but also the Classics: in fact, he won the Giro di Lombardia twice, in 2015 and 2017, and a Milan- Sanremo, in 2018. To these great victories are added two Italian championships on the road, in 2014 and 2015, and twice the Tirreno-Adriatico, in 2012 and 2013.
