Bianchi Oltre XR4 is a road bike emblem of quality and performance, it has a frame that adopts Countervail technology designed with advanced CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation software to predict the impact of aerodynamic resistance. In the wind tunnel, a special fluorescent paint (a technique used in the design of F1 cars) is applied to detect the data.

For Oltre XR4, aerodynamic efficiency comes first: a philosophy that extends to the new Vision Metron 5D ACR Reparto Corse carbon fiber handlebar, with integrated stem. The passage of the hydraulic braking system and transmission cables are completely integrated inside the handlebar-stem block. These technical solutions give the Oltre XR4 a clean and extremely aerodynamic front design, inspired by the maximum search for speed and efficiency.

Thanks to the collaboration with Materials Sciences Corporation Bianchi has developed the innovative and exclusive integrated system that eliminates 80% of the vibrations while increasing the stiffness and strength of the carbon frames. The Bianchi CV system combines the special Countervail Carbon, characterized by a specific arrangement of the fibers, with a viscoelastic resin patented by MSC.
