Alessandro Covi Visits TeamPeruffo
A young talent recently visited TeamPeruffo in the Cuveglio Store; Alessandro Covi born in Borgomanero on September 28th, 1998, met our Staff.
The class of '98 officially moved to the UAE Team Emirates this winter, making his official leap into the professional ranks after obtaining several important results among the amateurs.
The Emirate training obviously kept an eye on the young talent, who had raced for a few months as an intern in 2018, the year in which he had won a stage at the Tour de l'Avenir. Having moved to Team Colpack, the Tainese rider took an excellent fourth place in the general classification of the Under 23 Giro d'Italia and a twelfth place in the category Tour of Flanders, demonstrating his ability to achieve results on multiple terrains.
